3 Reasons We are Better Together
I started this coaching business because I firmly believe that it is impossible to get where you want to go in life if you never ask for help. Here are three reasons we are better together:
- We can combine our skills and knowledge. I have spent nearly 30 years in the financial services industry. I can talk about money, finances, leadership, small business, how to manage your time as a busy mom or single mom, sales. But when it comes to information technology, or search engine optimization, I’m at a loss! And thank God I have people in my life that know how to talk about those topics. We are certainly better together when we mix up our skills and knowledge.
- A shared work load. I think about raising my boys as a single mom. Asking them to do certain tasks, they’d get annoyed with me, I’d get annoyed with them. We had to talk about, what is the work load and how can we divide it? We found out that they hated doing the dishes, so I did it. I hated taking out the trash. That became a chore that they did. We no longer had to talk about which chore belonged to who, and the household ran so much more peacefully.
- Support and motivation. This is where better together coaching comes in. Sometimes you just need to have a conversation with a professional. Someone who can push you past a limiting belief, a challenge that you’re facing, or just remove what is in between you and the problem you are trying to solve.
